Dallasaurus

While small in comparison, the three-foot Dallasaurus served as an important evolutionary link to the later Creataceous mosasaurs, such a Tylosaurus. Dallasaurus was able to walk on land and swim, while later mosasaurs evolved into fully marine animals.
